Before starting Ingenium, Marty Weigel was a non-equity partner in a small, specialty PCAOB- and CPAB-registered public accounting firm.
There, he was responsible for the firm’s public and private company engagements and provided consulting services for non-attest public company clients. His consulting duties generally related to internal control implementation, MD&A drafting, SEC filing preparation and review, and registration statement preparation.
Earlier in his career, Marty served as a senior accountant for a large, regional accounting firm in Nevada where he led audit engagements in various industries and worked as a staff accountant in San Ramon, California. Prior to entering the accounting profession, he obtained both Series 7 and 63 licenses and served as a financial advisor in the Walnut Creek, California branch of Morgan Stanley.
Marty has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance, from the University of Nevada. He’s licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
